Project Description

Net.Formats.oEmbed is a C# implementation of oEmbed format protocol.
oEmbed is a format for allowing an embedded representation of a URL on third party sites. The simple API allows a website to display embedded content (such as photos or videos) when a user posts a link to that resource without having to parse the resource directly. Websites providing oEmbed API are called providers.
There are quite a few well known providers out there: Flickr, YouTube, Viddler, Hulu, Vimeo, and many more...

This implementation allows to consume resources from oEmbed providers as well as allowing web site owners to expose their resources using this library.

This project is released under MIT Licence.
